Needle Exchange

Needle exchange services are vital from a harm reduction perspective. The spread of illness such as HIV and Hepatitis is increased through injecting drug users sharing injecting equipment.

Many service users who access the Needle Exchange are not currently looking to change/stop their current drug use. Therefore the aim is to ensure harm reduction and endeavour to keep service users safe until the motivation to change increases.
